The Andalusian cadence (i-♭VII-♭VI-V) descends stepwise from the minor tonic down to the dominant, a movement typical of flamenco and folk music from southern Spain. The V chord is borrowed from the harmonic minor scale (not the natural minor v) precisely to get that decisive pull back toward the tonic that closes the phrase.
